Your Most Important Decision

You have so many decisions that you make every day with regard to your children, your household, your spouse, your friends, your direct sales career and so much more. The range of degree in your daily decision-making goes from what to wear today to who’s picking up the kids after school to how are you going to care for your mom who is battling cancer.

your most important decision

Nothing will make our decisions disappear and no one else can make them for us. But one decision will make all your other decisions possible and manageable. Your one most important decision is what will you do about Jesus?

Perhaps you’ve come to realize that you have never actually made the decision to join God and His Son, Jesus Christ, for eternity by accepting Christ as your Savior. My desire is that you would come to that decision today. If you already know Christ as your Savior and have chosen to live for Him, praise God! If you have never made that decision, let me encourage you to do that right now.

Our Heavenly Father loves you unconditionally and is preparing a home in heaven for you if you choose to accept His invitation. But because of sin, you are separated from God (Romans 3:23). But God loves you and so He sent His Son Jesus to die in your place to pay for your sins. The Bible says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son. That whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16) Because of what Jesus did, you can have forgiveness of your sins and spend eternity with God.

If you are ready to make that choice and accept God’s gift of salvation, then you may want to share your decision in a prayer to God like this one:

“Dear God, I know I’m a sinner. I ask your forgiveness for my sins. I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins. I now accept Him as my personal Savior. From this day on, I chose to follow You and Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.”

Dear One, if you prayed that prayer the angels in heaven are rejoicing at your decision! Please let me know of your decision so I can rejoice with you and encourage you. It is the most important decision you will ever make.

Blessings,
Beth
